Anna Osias is a Wellesley College Class of 2028 student majoring in Peace & Justice Studies with a minor in Sociology. Her research interests include community-based approaches to reentry programs, carceral reform, prevention of youth incarceration, and the transformation of institutions to promote equity and justice while amplifying marginalized communities.

Previous research experience: I work with a Sociology professor studying time as a form of inequality within the criminal justice system. I conduct qualitative analysis of unstructured data to identify patterns and inconsistencies in language usage and use that analysis to code prosecutorial events.

How I got started: I found my first research opportunity through Workday, Wellesley's platform for work-study applications and other campus processes.
