Economics
Haya is an Economics and Psychology student interested in using quantitative analysis to understand behavior, markets, and decision-making.
Previous research experience: Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Thomas Reppert's lab at Sewanee. Outside the lab, worked as a Data Analyst Intern at Data Driven Partners on legislator-data auditing, mortgage-document classification, quality assurance, and process documentation; previously conducted market research for Relai and company research for Green's View Capital.
How I got started: Economics and psychology both interested me, and data work was a way to bring them together. A lot of my analyst work involved cleaning up messy information and checking things, so I brought that experience with me when I joined Dr. Thomas Reppert's lab
