Cassidy studies Political Science and Spanish with interests in political institutions, law, ethics, bioweapons policy, and primary-source research.

Previous research experience: Undergraduate Research Assistant to Professor Yelena Biberman-Ocakli at Skidmore, contributing to an upcoming book on bioweaponology and related work on ethics and eugenics through proofreading, chapter editing, in-depth research, primary-source identification, and manuscript organization. She is also a Summer Legal Fellow at the Government Law Center at Albany Law School and previously conducted data analysis for immunotherapy research at Harvard Medical School.

How I got started: Professor Yelena Biberman-Ocakli's project brought together the political science and law questions I was interested in. My way in was finding sources and helping edit the manuscript. From there I got to see how all those pieces become a book-length argument.
