Val Harris is an Oberlin College Class of 2029 student majoring in Biology. Their research interests include animal health and veterinary medicine, particularly research that improves understanding and treatment of animal disease. They are especially interested in veterinary dermatology and neurological conditions.

Previous research experience: I have not yet conducted formal research.

How I got started: I would like to learn how to approach professors, find summer programs, and understand what research looks like in my field.
