Nora Lee Brown is a Kenyon College Class of 2028 student majoring in Neuroscience. Their research interests center on neurodevelopment, neuroendocrinology, behavioral neuroscience, and how environmental exposures, particularly endocrine-disrupting chemicals, affect the brain, reproductive development, and sex-specific behavior.

Previous research experience: I conducted research in the Rudolph Lab at Kenyon during the 2025-2026 academic year and continued through the 2026 Summer Science Scholars program, investigating how conventional and alternative plasticizers affect neuroendocrine and reproductive outcomes in female rats.

How I got started: I emailed a professor to learn more about the neuroscience major, discussed my long-term interest in graduate study, and was invited to join her lab, where I began by contributing to an older student's project and learning neuroendocrinology techniques.
