Dylan Ryznar is a Kenyon College Class of 2028 student majoring in Molecular Biology. Their interests are still developing, with a particular interest in cancer research.

Previous research experience: I spent two years in a toxicology lab studying the Aryl hydrocarbon Receptor in frogs and completed a summer project testing the effects of an engineered histone deacetylase on melanoma skin cancer cells.

How I got started: I first applied for a lab-cleaning job and eventually moved into research. I used that experience to apply for my summer position and am now emailing Kenyon professors about joining their labs.
