Chloe Chen is a Kenyon College Class of 2029 student majoring in Molecular Biology. Their interests include molecular biology and biochemistry, xenobiotic transport in Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, toxic chemical movement through biological systems, and medicinal research including cancer treatments.

Previous research experience: I currently work in Professor Matthew Rouhier's mosquito lab and previously worked in a dry lab at Purdue University with Professor AJ Schwichtenberg studying sleep development.

How I got started: I learned about research through teammates and a chemistry research event, then reached out directly to Professor Rouhier to explain my interests and ask how I could get involved.
