Amelia Stevenson is a Kenyon College Class of 2027 student majoring in Molecular Biology. Their interests include women's health and endocrinology, reproductive health, mosquito-borne illness, immunology, rare disease, fetal medicine, and the biological mechanisms underlying conditions that disproportionately affect women.

Previous research experience: At Kenyon, I have studied the effects of chlorophenol red dye in Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, focusing on xenobiotic transfer and transporter mechanisms. I also worked with a maternal-fetal health research group at Johnson & Johnson on research related to anti-HPA1a interference and maternal-fetal health.

How I got started: I first reached out to a chemistry professor because I was interested in his research and wanted hands-on experience, then later applied for a Johnson & Johnson summer internship and joined an immunology research group.
