Reanna is a Biology student with a neuroscience focus, interested in health equity, reproductive justice, transgender health, patient-centered care, and clinical medicine.

Previous research experience: Research Assistant at Colby supporting a community needs assessment on healthcare access in New Hampshire in collaboration with the Live Free Autonomy Collective. Her work includes reviewing scholarly and background literature on health equity, reproductive justice, and transgender health and contextualizing community surveys and listening sessions. She also has clinical experience as a medical assistant in urgent care.

How I got started: Working in urgent care got me thinking about what happens before a patient even reaches us. The community needs assessment was a chance to look at those access questions more closely and listen to what people said they needed. Thats what drew me to this kind of research
