Lizzie studies Psychology with a Neuroscience concentration and an Education minor, with interests in mental health, youth development, and community-based behavioral research.

Previous research experience: Research Assistant at Colby College. Her applied experience includes an outpatient and community-services internship at Spurwink, long-term youth mentoring and tutoring with Gateway Community Services Maine, and sustainability work at Luke's Lobster.

How I got started: A lot of my interest came from working with young people and community services. I wanted to understand more about behavior and mental health, and how the support people receive could be improved. Research at Colby gave me a way to explore those questions.
