Alexa is a Colby graduate who combined Psychology/Neuroscience and French Studies, with research experience in behavioral neuroscience, clinical neuroscience, and French-language scholarship.

Previous research experience: Behavioral Neuroscience Lab Research Assistant at Colby beginning in 2023 and French Research Assistant beginning in 2022. Completed a Neuroscience Lab Research Internship at McLean Hospital in summer 2023. Her sustained work across both departments reflects an interest in research methods as well as language and culture.

How I got started: French research came first for me. As I got further into psychology I also joined the behavioral neuroscience lab. I liked having both, even though the day-to-day work looked pretty different.
