In summer 2026, completed a research internship with Kentucky Equine Research in Ocala, Florida, adding applied equine research experience to her campus laboratory background.
How I got started: My first exposure was helping prepare the veterinary microbiology lab at Berry. That made me want to get more involved in the experiments themselves. I went on to do the summer fellowship and then the equine research internship
