Elizabeth Aniello is an Amherst College Class of 2029 student majoring in Economics, with a second major in Psychology and a minor in Health. Their interests lie at the intersection of economics, psychology, law, healthcare, mental health, and the ways incentives and legal systems shape outcomes.

Previous research experience: I built and analyzed financial models during a credit union research internship to evaluate regulatory changes and their effects on operations and consumer services. I also work as a research assistant in Amherst's Child Learning and Development Lab and have researched legal settings focused on rehabilitation for people experiencing mental health challenges and substance use disorders.

How I got started: I consistently attended office hours for a professor whose class I had taken, which gave me a foundation to build on when I later interviewed for a position in the CLAD Lab.
